A lifeline obsession with marketing...

Since I was a kid, I have had a fascination with marketing. Why do people make certain choices?

Following graduating from James Madison University, I went to work in a boutique PR and Advertising agency in the Washington DC area with a particular expertise in the technology and telecommunications sector. Then, I received my MBA from University of Georgia with a focus on Marketing and Decision Support Systems.

After serving as a product manager for a software company and a Director of Marketing for a real estate development firm, I enrolled in a PhD program in Marketing at University of Cincinnati to begin a second career as a Professor of Marketing.  I teach graduate and undergraduate marketing courses at Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio, perform research with a focus on mobile commerce and methods of payment. Additionally, I give talks and consult with organizations that have included the United States Air Force, Speedway, The John F Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, National Geographic and others.

Currently, I live in Centerville, OH with my wife, two sons, and a giant Rottweiler named “Fozzie.”
